From the spark of an idea to the final touches, we guide each project through every phase—land acquisition, design, and development. Our foundation is built on the legacy of Karl’s grandfather, whose vision left a lasting mark on Vancouver’s skyline.
Karl’s ambition led him to establish Empresa, a name that resonates with him personally—it means "ventures" in Spanish, perfectly capturing the essence of the company's mission to explore new and impactful opportunities.

Karl Robertson
Founder & President
Karl is the founder and president of Empresa Properties, a company driven by his entrepreneurial spirit and deep-rooted passion for real estate development. Inspired by his grandfather, Villi Lepik, a first-generation Estonian immigrant who rose from humble beginnings and who left an enduring legacy in Vancouver's real estate landscape.  Karl is responsible for the overall direction and expansion of the company. With years of expertise in development management, he is dedicated to creating meaningful, community-driven projects that make a lasting impact. For Karl, there is nothing more rewarding than completing a building and knowing it will serve and benefit the community for years to come. Under his leadership, Empresa has flourished, and Karl’s passion continues to drive the company forward with every project.
